BR Police: Robbery suspects hit clerk in the face with cinder block

Baton Rouge Police Detectives are investigating the Armed Robbery of Adams Grocery located at 1455 N. Acadian Thruway.

The robbery happened around 3:05 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1.

According to police, an employee was hit in the face with a cinder block as he unlocked the front door to allow another employee to leave.

Two suspects then entered the story and took various items as well as money from the register.

The first suspect is described as a black male around 5 feet 8 inches tall, medium build, wearing a dark colored jacket with a with dark pants.

The second suspect is described as a black male around 5 feet 8 inches tall, medium build, wearing a dark colored hooded jacket with white jogging pants with dark stripes.



The employee is being treated for his injuries.
