BR man threatens woman with knife in McDonald’s bathroom

Baton Rouge police are looking for a suspect who allegedly threatened a woman with a knife in a public restroom.

Officers say the incident happened at the McDonald’s in the 2200 block of Sherwood Forest Boulevard around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

The suspect allegedly pushed the 36-year-old woman into a bathroom stall, where he threatened her with the knife.

The woman began screaming, which alerted others inside the restaurant.

The suspect ran away on foot. A McDonald’s employee chased him down Harrell’s Ferry Road into Magnolia Trace Apartments.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, light skinned, with a thin mustache. He was reportedly wearing blue jean shorts, a racing jacket with white lettering and a brown wig.
