Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Baton Rouge Police say a 19-year-old man tried to kill someone with a broken bottle. Keimora Pitts is now sitting in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Second Degree Murder charges.

Baton Rouge Police say Pitts broke a bottle over someone's head, then stabbed the man in the chest with the broken bottle.

NBC33 News is told the victim was treated at a local hospital, and he's expected to be OK. While BRPD continues its investigation, Pitts is awaiting a bond hearing in the EBR Parish Jail.
