BOSSIER CITY, LA — A Bossier City man is behind bars for allegedly raping a young girl back in 2005.

Troy Roundtree, 23, was indicted by a Caddo Parish Grand Jury on April 20.

Detectives found Roundtree at his Haughton residence on Monday, where he was arrested and booked into the Bossier jail as a fugitive.

Roundtree was transferred back to Caddo Parish and is now being held in the Caddo Correctional Center. His bail is set at $250,000.

The victim in the case was six at the time of the offense. She later confided to her DARE instructor, Caddo Deputy Dorothy Carter, who investigated and arrested Roundtree.
