Bond set at $325,000 for man accused of beating senior couple during domestic dispute

SULPHUR, LA — A 25-year-old man was arrested for allegedly injuring a senior couple at their home.
On August 3, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a local hospital regarding the welfare of an senior couple.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered family member William J. Frank, of Sulphur, attacked the couple at their home the night before, striking the 66 year old man numerous times causing severe bruising on his arms, legs and back, and also pushing the 55 year old woman to the ground, causing scrapes and marks on her arms and legs.
Frank was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with cruelty to the infirmed; and domestic abuse battery.
Judge Michael Canaday set his bond at $325,000.
