Bogalusa man arrested on 30-counts of child pornography
BOGALUSA, LA — A Bogalusa man has been arrested and charged with 30-counts of pornography involving juveniles, announced Attorney General Buddy Caldwell.
Jonathan S. Richardson, 24, of Welch Street, was arrested Tuesday as part of a joint investigation involving the Attorney General’s High Technology Crime Unit and Louisiana State Police. Richardson was booked into Washington Parish Jail.
Attorney General Buddy Caldwell has earned a solid reputation for vigorously monitoring, arresting, and prosecuting online child predators. The Attorney General’s High Technology Crime Unit has investigated thousands of computer crimes such as identity theft, Internet fraud, and cyber-stalking. Yet, most of the unit’s investigations have involved crimes against children--boys and girls ranging from the ages of six- months-old to 17-years-old.
