Boaters high on crack claim alligator attack, end up behind bars

LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (NBC33) — Three people are facing charges after placing a 9-1-1 call while they were allegedly high on drugs.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that John Lamonte, Jennifer Lamonte and Brenda Burns were on a boat while high on crack cocaine. According to deputies, two of the suspects thought the boat was being attacked by aggressive alligators, so they called 9-1-1 for help.
The Sheriff's Office told NBC33 News the person who called for help admitted to smoking drugs and mentioned the alligators.
They're facing a list of charges including Possession of Illegal Narcotics.
