CADDO PARISH, LA (NBC33) — A Benton man is caught stealing more than $4,000 from his grandmother.

Caddo sheriff’s detectives arrested Jonathan Raines, 39, on Tuesday, April 17, for using his grandmother’s debit cards to make several unauthorized purchases, according to Sheriff Prator.

Raines is accused of using two debit cards belonging to his grandmother to make $4,074 in unauthorized charges between January and February. The charges ranged from purchases at gas stations to buying a new transmission for his truck.

Raines was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for unauthorized use of an access card.
