A Baton Rouge woman was arrested this morning for allegedly stabbing her ex-boyfriend multiple times back in April during two separate incidents. According to reports, the fight stemmed from an argument involving a missing television.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reports that the first incident occurred on Monday, April 22, 2013. The victim claims his ex-girlfriend, Martina Creshaun Gibson, 29, stabbed him and pulled out a gun.

Gibson reportedly returned for a second time three days later on Thursday, April 25.
The victim reports he heard a window break. When he went outside, Gibson was standing in the front yard. She accused her ex of taking her television from their old apartment. He then offered to let her inside the home to prove he was not in possession of the property.

At this point the victim claims he turned his back and that’s when Gibson pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the shoulder. When he turned around, he was reportedly stabbed again in the forearm.

The victim claims to have grabbed the knife and it broke, so Gibson pulled another knife from her purse and attempted to stab him again.

Gibson was located on Friday, June 28 by the U.S. Marshal’s Office. She was arrested and charged with Attempted Second-Degree Murder, Aggravated Battery with a Knife, Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, and Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling. She was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
