Baton Rouge teen charged in stabbing murder in Tigerland
BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — A teen is behind bars, accused of killing a neighbor after an argument.
The Baton Rouge Police Department says Justin Harrison, 19, and Roger Watkins, 22, got in a verbal confrontation before 7:00 a.m. on Saturday. As the argument became more heated, Harrison allegedly stabbed Watkins near the intersection of Jim Taylor and Alvin Dark.
Watkins was taken to the hospital, where he died from injuries suffered in the stabbing.
Harrison was arrested Saturday afternoon and charged with second degree murder.
