A Baton Rouge man was arrested for allegedly raping a woman he met on Facebook.

According to the arrest report, Justin Clyde Smith, 20, invited the woman he met online to his home located on O’Neal Road in Baton Rouge. The victim agreed, but says she went there for the purposes of a platonic friendship.

The report notes that the two went to his bedroom to watch television. She says that’s when Smith tried to kiss her, but she told him that she couldn’t because she has a boyfriend. He later continued his advances and she claims that he forcibly raped her.

The victim admitted to the officer that the two had been drinking and smoked marijuana before the alleged rape occurred.

Smith was arrested and charged with one count of Rape and parole/probation violations. He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and is being held on a bond of $35,000.
