Baton Rouge man arrested for Internet crimes against a child

Baton Rouge, La — According to reports, James Hargroder allegedly communicated via the internet with what he believed was a 14-year-old girl living in East Baton Rouge Parish during July this year.
Hargroder allegedly sent sexually explicit messages and video of himself. Hargorder transmitted two videos of himself committing lewd and sexually explicit acts, in which the agent was able to identify him.
Detectives arrested Hargroder at his home this morning, and executed a search warrant. The investigation is ongoing. Other agencies may have additional charges for Hargroder.
Hargroder, 64, is currently charged with Indecent Behavior With a Juvenile and Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor.
Hargroder was booked into EBR Parish Prison.
