Baker man arrested on robbery charges

Baker, La — A man from Baker has been arrested for charges stemming from robberies.
Detectives arrested Terry Lane Ferguson Jr., 18, on two active arrest warrants.
On November 12, 2012, Ferguson was accused of burglarizing a residence in the 2400 block of South Street. Three of his accomplices including one juvenile, were already arrested in that matter. The victim's safe was stolen, but later recovered from the residence.
On December 23, 2012, Ferguson was accused of committing a Second-Degree Battery on a juvenile and Simple Robbery, which resulted in the juvenile having 2 teeth knocked out and his “BEATS BY DRE” headphones taken from him.
In separate interviews, Ferguson admitted to committing the aforementioned crimes to detectives.
Ferguson was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling, Simple Criminal Damage to Property, Simple Robbery, and Second-Degree Battery.
