Robbery detectives in Corpus Christi are looking for a man who broke into a unit at the Waterford Apartments and attacked a woman while she was asleep last week.

Police say on March 15, a 29-year-old woman awoke to a man in a mask who was covering her face with a blanket. The victim apparently scared the man away by fighting with him. Police say they got into a punching match. Fortunately, the victim only suffered an injury to her hand.

The man was last seen running through the complex on Caravelle Parkway. He left behind a wrestler's mask identical to the kind worn by the Mexican wrestler 'Octagon.'

Police provided a composite sketch based on the victim's account of the account. The suspect is described as a white or hispanic male, 5'7″ feet tall, and weighing 140 to 155 lbs.

If you have any information on this man, call Crime Stoppers at 361-888-TIPS or submit a tip online at www.888tips.com.
