Ascension parish deputies looking for woman who stole wallet from business

Ascension Parish Sheriff's deputies are looking for a woman who stole a wallet from a local business.

On March 12, a man went to a local convenience store and accidentally left his wallet on the counter.

According to police, the man soon realized he left the wallet and returned to the store to retrieve it, but the wallet was no longer on the counter.

Surveillance video confirms that a female took the wallet from the counter.

The suspect is described as a White female possibly in her late 20’s to early 30’s with brown hair that is just below her shoulders.

The suspect is wearing a black long-sleeved top with a unique design on the front and yellow hood.
