Arrests made in December homicide of Quincy Nicholas

On Wednesday, June 11, Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested two men in connection to the December 22, 2013 homicide of 34-year-old Quincy Nicholas of Donaldsonville.

Nicholas was found shot to death in the front of his residence on First Street in Donaldsonville.

The two suspects arrested are Sylvester LeBlanc, 20, and Barry Lee Diggs, 57.

LeBlanc was charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery, and illegal use of a weapon.

Diggs was charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery, and principal to illegal use of a weapon. Diggs was already housed in the Ascension Parish Jail on first-degree murder charges for the homicide of Fred Martin that occurred on January 31, 2014 in St. Amant.
