Argument outside of a bar in Lafayette leads to a stabbing

Lafayette, La (NBC33) — On June 17, Lafayette Police responded to the 1500 block of North University Avenue in regards to a stabbing.
When officers arrived, they found a 21 year-old female had been stabbed twice, in both the chest and arm. The victim was taken an area hospital and remains in stable condition.
The incident is believed to have begun at a downtown bar where two women were arguing; it later led to the victim being stabbed.
Charlene Leonard, 20, was charged with Attempted 2nd Degree Murder. The case remains under investigation.
