Port Allen, La (NBC33) — A jury found current Port Allen Police Chief Fred Smith guilty on all counts.

This is the latest conviction in Operation: Blighted Officials.

He is now convicted of fraud, racketeering and several other charges in connection with the fictional garbage can cleaning company Cipher 5000.

Smith faces up to 20 years in prison and $3,500 in fines
