Saturday a domestic argument in Addis leaves on man dead.

Addis Police say they got the call around 3:00 p.m.

They say when they arrived at a house on the corner of 4th and Main street, they found victim Clarence Jones lying in the street.

Jones had gotten into an argument with his Mom's boyfriend, Cruz Ramirez, and as Jones was leaving, Cruz shot him twice in the back.

When Addis Police made their way to the back of the house, they say Ramirez turned himself in.

Police Chief Ricky Anderson says what shocks him most is the fact that this happened a block and a half away from his station.

"It's kind of a rush, but we all train for it, even though were a small department, all my officers except one of two are trained with a .223 cal," said Chief Ricky Anderson.
