Amite man arrested on multiple burglary charges

Tangipahoa Parish Officials have arrested a suspect wanted in conjunction with multiple burglaries.

On April 2, Deputy Leo Tate responded to a residence on Redwood Dr. in reference to a call for service. 

Upon making contact with the complaint, Tate learned that wanted suspect Travis Troxler, 18, was responsible for damaging several pieces of property at the Rosewood Drive residence.

Knowing that Troxler had numerous outstanding warrants for previous burglaries, Tate contacted the TPSO’s Burglary Unit.

That same day, TPSO Investigators were able to locate Troxler at a residence in Amite. Upon contact, he was immediately taken into custody and charged with 2 cts of attempted burglary, 2 cts of felony theft and 6 cts of burglary.
