On Friday July 6, at approximately 11:51 pm, two vehicles (a Chevrolet Camero and possibly a Nissan Altma) pull up to gasoline fueling stations at Dickie’s Sportsman Center in Addis.

A tall black male subject exits the Camero, walks up to the gasoline fueling pumps, opens the panel with key, removes the fueling station’s activation keypad, and types in a code to activate the fueling pumps. The male subject then fills both vehicles with gasoline, clears and shuts off the fueling pumps with the keypad, places the keypad back inside the panel box, and then locks it.

The Addis Police Department hopes that the local news agencies will air this clip for the purpose of catching this subject and his accomplice before they are able to attempt this crime again. The key used by the subject is possibly a universal key that can unlock most gasoline fueling station pumps; and the subject has knowledge of the codes used to activate these fueling stations.

The Addis Police Department is asking that anyone with information regarding the identity of these two individuals; to please contact the Addis Police Department at (225) 687-2222 or Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-STOP (7867). You can also text your tip to CRIMES (274637). Include CS225 at the beginning of your message.
