LAFAYETTE,LA (NBC33) — Lafayette Police arrested a man after they say he shot 3 teenagers killing one of them.

Seth Fontenot, 18, is charged with two counts of Attempted First-Degree Murder and one count of First-Degree Murder.

They say it happened around 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10 in the 100 block of Green Meadow.

The teens were driving through a subdivision when police say Fontenot shot at them. The driver was able to get them to the hospital. One of the teens died, later.

The two other victims are listed in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
