Three former firefighters facing arson charges tonight. That after a string or arson fires in Livingston and Holden.

State fire officials tell NBC33 News the fires started back in February of last year.

Eleven fires in mostly vacant buildings were torched between then and late last month.

"It’s a very small percentage of firefighters that we see set fires,” Butch Browning, State Fire Marshal, explained. “It's not the normal at all and it's a disgrace to the people who wear that uniform everyday."

The fires caused more than a hundred thousand dollars in damage.

This joint investigation has resulted in the arrest of Thomas Golder, 2 counts of simple arson, Colin Davis, 4 counts of simple arson and of Adam Church, he was charged with 11 counts of simple arson.
