Robert, La (NBC33) — Three people from Tangipahoa Parish were arrested on Tuesday for running an active methamphetamine laboratory.
Police located the suspects, Chasity Heaney, Jonathan Goings, and Amanda Scalia at a car wash in Robert, Louisiana.
When officers arrived, Goings was searching for money in the vacuum machines at the car wash.
During their investigation, detectives got consent to search Heaney’s car. Police found an active “one pot” methamphetamine laboratory, along with materials used to produce and consume meth.
Officers also found about 5.9 ounces of meth with an estimated street value of $6,500.00.
All three suspects gave statements about their level of involvement in the manufacturing of the methamphetamine.
A hazardous material cleanup crew removed the meth lab materials, and the vehicle was taken from the property.
Investigators placed Heaney, Scalia, and Goings under arrest for the manufacturing of methamphetamine, and possession with intent to distribute schedule II methamphetamine.
