2 men charged with 4 recent business robberies

BATON ROUGE (NBC33) — Demarcus Mathews and Terrance Venson have been connected and charged with several recent armed robberies that have happened in February 2014.
Both Mathews and Venson have been linked to the armed robbery of Metro PCS, which occurred on Feb. 13, and the armed robbery of Papa John’s, which took place on Feb. 16.
Baton Rouge Police have added armed robbery charges to both Mathews and Venson for each robbery with which they were connected.
Detectives were able to recover the handguns used in the robberies, along with the money taken from the Papa John’s Robbery.
