BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — An 18-year-old man was found shot to death last night, Sunday, April 22, while sitting in a vehicle parked outside of a house.

The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to the call at around 9:00 p.m. When they arrived they found Dennis Thomas, Jr., shot dead inside a Chevrolet Tahoe. The vehicle was parked in front of a house on the 1700 block of America Street.

Detectives say a 42-year old female also suffered injury from the shooting incident. They say the woman was hit in the arm by a bullet.

Officials believe a silver, four-door vehicle drove in front of the home and its occupants fired the shots.
