BATON ROUGE, LA — A Deputy with the School Drug Task Force responded to McKinley High School in reference to a 10th grader with a loaded gun at 1:00 p.m. today.

According to reports, the 9mm handgun was reported by an anonymous student to administration. The student was taken out of class and the gun located in his pocket along with a small bag of marijuana.

Creshawn Odell, 17, of 2847 Congress Blvd. will be charged with Possession of Marijuana and illegally carrying a weapon on school property and booked into parish prison.
