$1,000 reward offered for identity of vandals who spray painted satanic, Nazi phrases at Catholic school
COVINGTON, LA (NBC33) — Police are now offering a $1,000 reward for information about a case of vandalism at a catholic school in Covington.
Officials at St. Paul’s School called the Covington Police Department on Saturday, April 27 to report the crime. They say over 40 different locations on the campus had been vandalized.
Officers noted various painted text stating “Hail Satan 666,” numerous swastikas, and the world “Hitler” spelled out on the supports of the bell tower. Some of the statues located throughout the campus were also found to have the Star of David painted on them, while others had “obscene” drawings.
Officials say more than 100 members of the community have donated their time to remove the symbols from the school ground.
