SHREVEPORT, LA (KMSS) — Officials tell our sister station, KMSS, one person is dead after an early morning shooting in Shreveport.

It happened at around 3:00 a.m. at the La Tierra Apartments on the 6100 block of Tierra near Pines Road.

According to the Shreveport Police Department, a group of men gathered in the parking lot were shot at by a known person. One person was killed and another seriously wounded.

The injured person was taken to a local hospital, and his condition is unknown at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
