It'll cost you a little extra to fly on Continental Airlines. The company announced it lost $213 million between April, May, and June.
As a result, roughly 1,700 jobs are expected to be cut this year. It's forcing the airline to raise fees for reservations booked over the phone. It'll also cost you five more dollars to check your luggage.
Airline officials said even more revenue raising measures are on the way.
