Chief Police candidates narrowed to final five

Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — The final candidates in the search for a new Baton Rouge Police Chief have been named, and the list of 30 is now culled down to five.
It's all thanks to the police chief advisory committee which spent the day making the tough decision on who should stay in the running to become Baton Rouge's next top cop.
The names will now go to Mayor Kip Holden who will choose the new Chief of Police.
By law, Interim Chief Charles Mondrick has to leave that position by the end of the month.
