NBC NATIONAL NEWS — An armed robber is in police custody thanks to the bravery of several convenience store customers.

The man entered a Spokane, Washington store Monday night.

After demanding cash he fired one shot, then turned to leave.

That's when one bystander ran forward, tackling the robber. Several others then joined in and helped hold the man until police arrived.
