In Ohio two men sprang into action to help an officer arrest a suspect, and it's caught on tape.

The officer spotted a man wanted for questioning in a nearby burglary.

The cop pulled over and approached the suspect off camera. Then you see the fighting.

The scuffle between officer Keene and 41-year-old Charles Cole lasts about thirty seconds before a man walking down the street rushes over to help. A second guy jumps out of a truck and also pitches in.

"I just couldn't stop the truck quick enough for Levi to get out and help with the situation."

"He could've reached for his gun, anything could've transpired from it. So you just don't know what kind of situation you can get into in situations like that."

Both men, Benjamin Lawson and Levi Miniard helped get the situation under control.

"Saturday, the citizens partnered with us in our time of need. The officer needed assistance and they didn't think twice and came to help."

Chief Russ Whitman says he would never want people in the community to put themselves in danger, but in this incident, it all worked out.

"Those are the paychecks that we get from our citizens. The thank you’s and the hugs and the kisses, and when they tell us they appreciated the work we do."
