NBC NATIONAL NEWS — Officials in Cincinnati were updating the media about a collapse at a construction project that injured more than a dozen workers. At the same time, Joann Searles, a bus driver, honked the horn, but when no one moved, she drove the bus into the news conference, hitting a parked news vehicle in the process.
Searles then got off the bus and told reporters she understood they had a job to do, but she had a job to do, too.
Searles then got back on the bus, backed up and continued on her way.
She’s been cited for Improper Change of Course.
She’s been suspended from Lakefront Lines, the company she was driving for at the time.
