CATS almost out of money
Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — The city’s public transportation system, CATS, has repeatedly said they'll be out of money later this year.
Now, the newly formed transportation commission is pushing for another tax measure on the ballot. They'd also like to expand from the current depot on Florida Boulevard.
The commission says they're looking at three different stations to make the busses more available, more often.
The 17 member panel will give Kip Holden a list of recommendations in June.
