A fire destroyed a building in the Brandywine Apartments.

The blaze started around 10:30 Tuesday night in a back building. Minutes after arriving, crews had to call a second alarm for more manpower to fight the fire.

It took about an hour to put out the flames.

No word on what caused the fire.
