BR rapper arrested on marijuana charges

Baton Rouge Police arrested local rapper Jason Taylor, 30, on Friday around 3:00 p.m. for 2nd Offense Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Taylor also goes by the name "Spitta."
According to a statement from Baton Rouge Police, Taylor’s Probation and Parole Agents “smelled a strong odor of marijuana” on him when he met them for his scheduled appointment.
The agents checked Taylor’s vehicle and found a small baggie of marijuana hanging from the ceiling. Agents also found a digital scale that contained marijuana residue.
Taylor admitted that the marijuana was his and that he put it there because he had to meet with his probation officer.
Taylor also had two cell phones containing several text messages asking him for drug prices and sales.
Taylor was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
