BR man dies in concrete truck accident
Baton Rouge — Ascension Parish Lieutenant Colonel Bobby Webre reported that a Baton Rouge man has died as a result of a single vehicle accident.
The incident occurred on Wednesday at about 4:30 p.m.
According to police, Albert Rucker, 61, was driving a concrete truck on Merritt Evans Road.
The truck apparently veered to the right side of the road. When Rucker tried correcting the vehicle, the weight of the concrete within the truck caused the vehicle to become unstable.
Rucker died as a result of the accident.
Speed was not a factor in the incident.
