McKinley High Alumni Center to host Black History ceremony

The McKinley High School Alumni Center is hosting the the 2012 Black History Celebration from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on February 22 - February 24.

This year’s event features The Original Traveling “Black Inventions Museum.”

For over 20 years, the museum has toured across the nation and around the world teaching about the great contributions to civilizations made by people of color.

“Our mission is to inspire the next generation of engineers, scientists and daring innovators with sounds and images to spark their minds. We strive to increase cultural awareness and appreciation for all people.”

The opening ceremony will be opened to the children and adults of all ages and backgrounds.
