BATON ROUGE, La (BET)-- Black Entertainment Television's Black College Tour will make a stop at Southern University on Friday, Nov. 5 from noon - 4 p.m., in the Seymour Gymnasium.

The tour, in its ninth year, remains the largest event of its kind targeting Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in an effort to highlight and support HBCUs by providing relevant, engaging and meaningful outreach to minority students.

The tour will feature a "3-Point Basketball Shoot-out" competition, "2-on-2 Basketball Contest," "Drop the Beat" music trivia contest, "Video Skillz Challenge," where students can play the latest EA Sports games, and a Freestyle (rap) Battle.

Southern students will also be able to play the DJ Hero video game and sing a song - acappella style - for a chance to win a prize.
