Bayou Country Superfest expected to bring big crowds to local businesses
BATON ROUGE, LA — Country music fans are gearing up for a big weekend in Baton Rouge as Bayou Country Superfest returns to Tiger Stadium.
Restaurants around the area are doing the same.
Hundreds of thousands of people from out of town are expected to make the trip to see the concerts.
Local businesses are prepared for some of the busiest days of the year.
Walk-On’s near LSU’s campus is getting ready for the same influx of business they see on an LSU football home game.
“It’s one of those situations where you know the crowd is going to be coming in. The energy is going to be there. The level of excitement will be there. It’s not something that we just started preparing for this week. We have been preparing for it all year,” Ryan Nizzo, Walk-On’s general manager, said.
It’s the fourth year in a row that the capital city has hosted the event that features some of the biggest stars in the industry.
The event is on Saturday and Sunday. It’s headlined by Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band, Miranda Lambert and several other country music stars.
