Baton Rouge Rugby remembers a fallen soldier
BATON ROUGE (NBC33) - Today the Baton Rouge and New Orleans rugby clubs remembered a friend and a fallen soldier.
It was a somber scene today. the memorial was for specialist nathan carse, a member of the LSU, New Orleans and Baton Rouge clubs.
Carse was about to finish his tour in Afghanistan in two months, and on the way back to his unit last, his truck was hit by an IED, and he was killed in action.
The ruggers remembered their friend like they would anyone else, by playing rugby. A match between New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
