Banning Pitbulls in Pointe Coupee

The Pointe Coupee Police Jury meets tonight to vote on an ordinance that would ban pitbulls from the parish.
Under the proposal, anyone who already owns a pitbull would have 6 months to find a new home for it.
Russell Young is the man behind the ban.
He says the parish is overrun with dangerous pitbulls and owners aren't taking responsibility.
