Lawyers for hundreds of hurricane victims want to hold a mock trial for the toxic trailer lawsuits.
A real jury has already rejected a family's claims that formaldehyde in their FEMA trailers hurt their health.
The plaintiff's attorneys asked a judge to order two non-binding summary jury trials. The outcome can promote a mass settlement, but attorney's for trailer manufacturer are opposed to the idea.
Summary jury trials typically take less time and are less expensive.
