BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) – For those of you who want to ring in the New Year with a ban, fireworks are probably a part of your plan. But are they legal in your neighborhood?

Below is a list of five parishes where fireworks are legal, and those locations where they are not.

EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH
  -illegal everywhere

LIVINGSTON PARISH
  -legal everywhere except Denham Springs and Walker

ASCENSION PARISH
  -legal everywhere except Gonzales and Donaldsonville

WEST BATON ROUGE PARISH
  -legal everywhere except Port Allen, Brusly, and Addis.

IBERVILLE PARISH
  -legal everywhere
