BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) - January 16, 2011 - A fire claimed half an apartment complex Saturday evening.

It happened around 6:00 p.m. BRFD investigators say the fire started in the bedroom of the second apartment on the second floor.

This apartment was completely burned whenever firefighters arrived.

Baton Rouge Firefighters say the apartment below the burned one suffered heat and smoke damage.

Everyone in the building escaped unharmed, this fire is still under investigation.
