UPDATE: Officials say Tim Allen, 32, and his 5-year-old son were located in Houston. The boy is reportedly in good condition. We're told Tim Allen was taken into custody, but they did not say whether or not he has been charged.

 

ORIGINAL: An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 5-year-old boy.

Seabrook Police said Apollo Allen was taken from his home by his father, Tim Allen, 32, on Tuesday, July 23 during the afternoon.

Officials say the man has a history of drug abused and taking his child to locations where drugs are being used or distributed.

The child is described as a white male with blonde hair. He is 3'6" inches tall and weighs about 40 pounds. He has one green and one blue eye.

Police say the child and his father were last seen in the Seabrook area Tuesday afternoon. The suspect spoke to the mother at 2:30 p.m. from a location on Highway 290 in Houston.

The father is believed to be driving the mother's SUV which is a black, 2009 Dodge Journey with Texas license plates BX3C020.

Tim Allen is a white man with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 5'11" and weighs about 195 pounds.

Anyone with any information regarding Apollo, the vehicle, or the suspect is asked to call Seabrook Police Department immediately at (281) 291-5610.
