Meeting being held to decide Ascension Parish Animal Control Center's fate

Ascension Parish, La (NBC33) — The Ascension Parish Animal Control Center could be shut down. Parish leaders say there aren't enough funds to keep it open.
The public is invited to a meeting on Monday, March 11, at 5:15 p.m. to discuss the fate of the parish's animal control center.
That meeting will be held by the Ascension Parish Strategic Planning Committee at the parish court house in Gonzales.
