Austin, Tx (CNN) — It ain't easy being "meme."

The Internet sensation known as "Grumpy Cat" made an appearance at the South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas.

You've probably seen pictures of Grumpy Cat on social media sites.

The cat's name is actually Tardar Sauce, and believe it or not, the cat is sponsored. The cat food company, Friskies, brought him to Texas for the festival.

He was there for three days over the weekend.

As you can see above, plenty of people were eager to get their pictures taken with Grumpy Cat-- pictures which will undoubtedly show up online shortly after they're taken.

Three days of photo opportunities were enough to make any cat -- especially this one -- a little bit grumpy.
