WALKER, La (WVLA) - Voters said they wanted hard liquor in restaurants and stores.

Now - Council members are trying to figure out how to implement it.

Council will put restrictions on time and days of the week.

Hard liquor will be available from 6:00am-2:00am Monday through Saturday.

On sunday - you'll only be able to order alcohol in a restaurant if you've ordered food.

John Wilder has been the lead in getting the ordinance passed - he says to expect hard alcohol on store shelves sometime next month.
